Wonderful experience at my first hamman. My sister and I did the Turkish bath and massage experience which was 90 minutes and it was so worth it. The prices were much more affordable than others and the experience was luxury to say the least. Asih was my masseuse and she was wonderful and very nice, she had hands of magic!!! was a bit stressed going in since it was my first time but she made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. My sister had zarina and thought she was great too. The whole experience consisted of a bath, a bubble massage, a face mask, and an oil massage. We were also provided with refreshments of choice and a plate of apple slices. Overall 10/10 experience and we are glad we signed up:D driver was also great

An absolutely wonderful experience in Cappadocia! The Turkish spa was the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. The traditional hammam bath was beautifully done, and the scrub was incredibly refreshing
The whole experience was peaceful, authentic, and very well organized. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making sure everything was comfortable throughout. I especially loved the combination of the warm hammam, traditional exfoliation, and relaxing atmosphere.
If you’re visiting Cappadocia, I highly recommend taking some time to enjoy a traditional Turkish hammam. It was one of the highlights of my trip and a wonderful way to experience a little bit of Turkish culture while completely relaxing.

I had an amazing experience at Ilyada Exclusive Spa, where I enjoyed a full wellness session including a Turkish hammam, massage, and sauna.

Great place to get hamam and massage. The therapists were talented and professional. Free pick up and drop was arranged and was on time.
Few improvements which would make the experience even better:
1. Mosquito control at waiting area. That's the first place consumers interact and seeing mosquitos buzzing around raises questions on hygiene.
2. Service should largely be confined to 1 or 2 nearby rooms at max. Walking around the entire facility draped in a towel for different things with people of opposite gender roaming around is not the experience you expect from a high-end spa.

We left this spa feeling satisfied with the service but not thoroughly wowed. My husband and I did the hammam treatment together (which we weren't asked about beforehand, though the shared experience was fine). The actual bath and massage were executed beautifully, which was easily the best part of the visit.
However, the overall experience felt incredibly rushed from start to finish. As soon as we arrived, we were hurried into the locker room, given a paper cup of water, and put straight into the sauna without a pre-treatment shower. The locker room was clean but lacked individual or premium amenities, and the trash can was overflowing.
After the bath, we were quickly dried off and sat on lounge chairs. We were kept in just our towels with no robes provided. Upon arrival, we were told we could have tea, coffee, or red wine, but at this point, we weren't actually offered a choice and were just handed tea alongside some apples. While lounging, a face mask was applied.
To finish, we were asked to wash the mask off ourselves, and then we were immediately ushered back to the locker room to get dressed. Because there were no lotions, face products, or toiletry kits provided to rehydrate, our skin felt extremely dry when we left.
Great technical skill by the staff during the treatment itself, but the pacing, lack of robes, and sparse amenities took away from what should have been a relaxing spa experience.

01What happens during the Turkish bath experience?
The experience begins with approximately 20 minutes in the sauna, allowing your body to adjust to the heat and preparing your skin for the ritual. You then move to the warm marble area for traditional silk-mitt exfoliation, followed by abundant soap foam and a relaxing foam massage. Time is provided for rinsing before you continue to the relaxation area and finish the ritual at an unhurried pace. The treatment itself lasts about 60 minutes, although you may spend additional time at the facility while changing and relaxing.
02What should I wear and bring to the hammam?
Complete nudity is not permitted in the hammam. A towel or traditional peştemal is provided at the entrance, and you are also welcome to bring your own bikini, swimsuit, or shorts. You do not need to bring specialist bathing products because the essential materials used during the hammam treatment are prepared for you. We recommend leaving unnecessary valuables at your hotel and keeping any items you bring in the secure area indicated by the spa team.
03Do women and men use the same hammam area?
For standard bookings, women and men receive service in separate areas to protect every guest’s privacy and comfort. Couples or members of the same group who would like a private shared experience should contact us before booking so availability can be confirmed. Private-use arrangements can vary depending on the selected time, facility occupancy, and any additional treatments requested. On arrival, the team will clearly explain the changing areas, treatment sequence, and how each part of the facility is used.
04Is hotel transfer included and where can you collect guests?
Pickup in an air-conditioned vehicle from eligible accommodation points in the Cappadocia area, followed by return transportation after the experience, is included. Your exact pickup time is confirmed after booking because it depends on the selected hammam time, your hotel’s location, and that day’s vehicle schedule. If your accommodation has not yet been confirmed, you can still complete the booking and send the hotel name or full pickup address later via WhatsApp. The team will advise you in advance if a distant location falls outside the standard route.
05Who should avoid or take extra care with a hammam?
A hammam involves high heat, substantial humidity, and physical exfoliation, so it may not be suitable for every medical condition. Guests who are pregnant or have heart, blood-pressure, circulation, recent-surgery, open-wound, or serious skin-sensitivity concerns should consult a doctor before booking. Please tell the attendant about allergies, injuries, or sensitive areas before the treatment begins. The spa team cannot provide medical advice, but they can adjust the intensity for comfort or stop the treatment if continuing would not be appropriate.
06Can I change or cancel my reservation?
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled starting time are eligible for a full refund of the amount paid. If you need to change the date, time, or number of guests, contact us as early as possible because changes depend on availability and vehicle capacity for the new selection. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the experience, or failure to arrive without notice, may not be refundable. In cases such as flight cancellation or another exceptional event, contact the team with supporting information so the circumstances can be reviewed individually.
07What is the difference between the 25% deposit and full payment?
With the 25% deposit option, one quarter of the reservation total is paid securely through iyzico to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is paid at the spa by credit card or cash, and the booking summary clearly shows both the amount due now and the amount remaining. With full payment, the complete reservation price is charged during checkout, so no further payment is needed at the facility for the core experience. Optional services selected later, such as an oil massage or additional treatment, are not included in the original booking total.
08Can I shower, relax, and have refreshments afterward?
After the exfoliation and foam massage, you are given time to rinse and prepare comfortably. You can then rest in the relaxation area while your body gradually adjusts after the heat and enjoy the refreshment included with the booking. We recommend drinking water before and after the hammam and avoiding demanding physical activity immediately afterward. If you would like to add an oil massage, facial treatment, or another spa service, ask the team about availability and current prices at the facility.
